My sister was her friend in Uni long before we met lol. They gonna see each other again at some point.
Yes. And then they will acknowledge each other and go on their separate ways. You are not over this girl, man. It's painful to read. Stop thinking of her as some goddess.

Lol euphemism for saying they are moody irrational crazy bats, just give it up bro and accept reality.
I have met lots of intelligent and emotionally stable women, while I have also met lots of emotionally crazy men. Unfortunately my perception of mankind as a whole is that the vast majority of us are not all that smart and are probably severely lacking in empathy too. But I wouldn't ascribe it to one gender in particular.

That’s certainly part of it but how many gamblers and comedians have their shit together?
I know, that's why I questioned Matt's claim of women being more emotionally intelligent than men. Dealing with your own emotions is key to personal and professional success.

Anyway, if you got your shit together, social skills are the ultimate tool to handle and influence other people’s emotions effectively. Hence, they could be considered the final piece of emotional intelligence. Men are usually better at this (Persuasion and influencing skills, conflict management skills, leadership skills, building rapport, collaboration and cooperation, etc.)

Emotional intelligence is about more than influencing other people's emotions. If you think that's all it is, you're basically a psychopath. The biggest part to emotional intelligence is recognising and dealing with your own emotions.

I'm also not sure whether men are better at persuading others than women or collaborate better with one another. I do think men are much more openly competitive, while women are a bit sneakier and in my experience more often resort to sabotage.
