Yeah same here, showed his true nature, no sense or responsibility and try to scam you. Wasn't a friend, more of friend to close friend, but he seemed chill and easy going, and funnily enough comes from loaded family but was still doing this.
That's what you get when try to help someone who needs apartment last minute scenario in a new city for him. Now pretty much ostracized by any common friends / acquitances.

Fuck those cunts. Btw, I was at a Balkan christening a few weeks back and i explained this. A whole bunch og x yu guys (i didnt know them prior to that evening) started planning how we should all head over to My apartment and just wait for him until he comes home, just to spook him. While they were planning some danish guy pulled me to the side and said 'please dont do that. Im a lawyer and that is the most effective way of not getting your money'. i looked back on the other guys, they were lit on rakija and ready to go
Hahaha (I tried rakija once, never again) ,I had similar boneheaded suggestions by a few, weirdly enough one of those who suggested was his friggin 2nd cousin "was like never liked this arrogant fuck". Laughable, but cute.
About para, the more you know! I had no idea, its a slang we been using for ages, but I assumed it derived from turkish like most of the random slang words in swedish. But it makes sense, besides turk/arabs, its mainly balkan peeps thats mainly influential in immigrant communities here.

I mean like all TED Talks it only gives a very small, incomplete picture of the situation (that one stat they took to measure mobility can't really be an adequate index for social mobility for example), but what stands out to me is that correlation between the age moved to a better neighbourhood and their eventual income - pretty much destroys the argument that poor people are the ones responsible for their poverty.
