After three months of squatting in China I was more excited to see a western toilet than to see any of my friends
Here in the Azores there are "Chinese stores" that sell a random assortment of cheap crap with a half-life of about two weeks or two uses, whichever comes first.

I almost bought a Pope Benedict bidet. But I didn't want to have to buy a new one by the time I have to return to the States.

So, a kid, in my class, told me I reminded me of her mother. I smiled and said she's probably not the only one. I hate generalizing, but it's because more women do the hard work, when it comes to kids. @Klin
Hard work with kids = hard time

Down in my workshop after midnight, drinking wine and tearing apart a chainsaw trying to get it running again for work tomorrow. Scraping carbon out of the exhaust port and combustion chamber now. And then replacing the spark plugs. See if that works... Otherwise it looks like a super fun $250 piston and cylinder replacement.

:sigh:

Those timber cottages you build look pretty expensive, sure you can afford a new chainsaw.

If not - cut down the parfume.

Landed on Flores Island in the Azores. You know this place is small when your prop plane lands at the airport in the afternoon, and after you pick up your baggage the entire airport evacuates and goes home.
