Trying to stay positive/not dwell on depressing thougts all morning at work, but this has seriously been a shitty morning. Find out just when I start my oldest sister is committed to emergency ward in hospital and its looking bad.

And that my uncle in London just died, dont say this just because he is my relative (frankly dont like half of my huge collection of relatives, mostly strangers to me), but he was seriously the sweetest and most wise man I ever met. Last time I talked to him (last month) he told me he fought prostate cancer and won, and this morning found out they found cancer back of his ear and he died immediately passed away, truly wtf...
Damn akhee...:dule:
My condolences...hope your sister pull through

Thanks fellas, had time to calm down after waiting for hours due to the bureacracy of the place, they cant say much yet but seemed positive atleast.

Been just busy consoling rest of my siblings (I'm one of 8), mainly the shitstorm combination of both occuring the same time hitting my other sisters the hardest.

Thanks everyone, appriciate it :dule:

That sucks man :( Yeah the timing and rapidness of it all was the worst, happend so immediately.

:agree:

a person who seems to be in (rather) good shape suddenly dies
on cancer, out of the blue.
of course it has been there for years, but you do not
notice it til its to late.

sounds stupid, but it really changed my thinking.
that "live every day like it is your last one" used to be bullshit to me,
now i kinda understand it.
you dont know when it’s over.

it also brought my family closer together.

any news of your sis?

Exactly same here, allways interesting to notice the older generations of the family's attitude to death, very comforting really.

Yeah she is thankfully improving and is being moved from ICU in next coming days.
