American English is very simple minded, dumbed down. Coming from a language that is far more cultured, like Polish, it's disturbing how far it goes.

Alas it's the only variant of English that sounds remotely sane in speech.

I actually think American English can be one of the most rich languages out there. there's so many words and combinations you can come up with to describe something. granted, i don't know polish.
