So I visit my drag-racing ninja cop bro yesterday afternoon, and we have a pretty fun time climbing through some old coal and sandstone mines with my nephew in the desolate parts of Contra Costa County (aka, Kyle-land). And I knew the guy was way over the top into his drag racing car -- it's gotten to the point now where he sees every drop in 10-lbs car weight as costing $1,000.

But then I saw him featured in the latest issue of Mopar magazine, where they called his car (engine still being worked on) the "fastest naturally-aerated modern Hemi-engine powered car in the world" at the low nines (seconds) @ 144 mph.

I'm not really into drag racing, but it's just weird to see someone you know get national recognition like that for their part-time hobby. (All I getz is the coffee thing.)
you mean aspirated? :p

that's pretty sick tho. link that shit in the auto thread if it goes online.

@Sheik Yerbouti

If you're still interested in philosophy, an easier way of being introduced to it than going through all the books (and spending the money required) is to download Philosophy: The Classics. It's a sopcast and is available for free, there are great 20min summaries on almost all the classics and schools. There are such podcasts for moral philosophy, epistemology etc. too.
Will do. Thjanks.
