Thanks, looking forward to actually finishing something major in my life, for once :D. Always seem to get close and then just let it go out of sheer laziness. As much as I hate to admit it, living with my parents for the past two years did me oceans of good.

How you doing lately?

Nice. The feeling of a void and lack of will to get up in the morning is gone? I remember you mentioning some of that the last time we spoke.

Where did you go in France?
Hm, yeah pretty much. Mostly because work got busier and more interesting though.

Went to Bretagne and then south around the Loire to see a bunch of castles.

Oh, hey dehr, happy birthday, Mattuvius. :pint: May nobody ever put their Trinidad in your Tobago...unless you asked for it.

I have a serious problem today - should I eat a burger or a pizza? Please help me, tuz, it's a difficult time for me.
 OK, I kind of have to sympathize with Søren's point here.

Pretty good, just got back from a boss vacation in France.
You? In France? Unheard of! :p

Sweet. Sounds nice and a good getaway. But I thought only Mericans liked visiting European castles, hoping to find people dressed in costumes of cartoon characters.

What is it with Brit's and curry?
Unlike British cuisine, they're fascinated with a cuisine that causes projectile behavior from the other end of the body. It's a nice way to switch things up once in a while.

So I visit my drag-racing ninja cop bro yesterday afternoon, and we have a pretty fun time climbing through some old coal and sandstone mines with my nephew in the desolate parts of Contra Costa County (aka, Kyle-land). And I knew the guy was way over the top into his drag racing car -- it's gotten to the point now where he sees every drop in 10-lbs car weight as costing $1,000.

But then I saw him featured in the latest issue of Mopar magazine, where they called his car (engine still being worked on) the "fastest naturally-aerated modern Hemi-engine powered car in the world" at the low nines (seconds) @ 144 mph.

I'm not really into drag racing, but it's just weird to see someone you know get national recognition like that for their part-time hobby. (All I getz is the coffee thing.)
