Nice, Rolling Stone know their shit. And yeah tinariwen is exactly the ones that are covered in several of the documentaries I seen of west african music, especially about the Bamako music festival, ze musical pilgrimage to cats like these.
I dont even read the magazine, but in this instance, giving props to/writing about an internationally unknown Tuareg gutarist and artist is pretty good of them.
