That's absolutely shocking, but then the standard of living is probably much much better than here so you don't need as much alcohol to enjoy life.

I was never able to find Abercrombie and Fitch though, where is that located?

Today I literally raided Strøget, I managed to buy what I want in 90 minutes just in time before the stores closed.

The drinking culture here is pretty bad, actually. Meaning, a lot of people drink. The reason, I believe, is state regulations on the matter. Since the 50s, there has been very strict regulations on what kind of alcohol you are allowed to buy in stores, and at which hours you can buy them, and it has resulted in a pretty vulgar drinking culture. Instead of enjoying a few beers and glasses of wine, there's a wide tendency in Norway to go binge drinking.

The reason for the high pricing is just that the Norwegian economy is really strong, and we have very high wages.

I don't know where The Dubliner is. As for Magasin and Illum I can find there what I usually find in Sweden. I am always after brands I can't find back home.

Illum Bolighus is amazing by the way. I don't know if I can go in there with my kids if they come with me in the summer
