Wrong choice of words. Employment is employment as long as there is options of course. I'm against seeing a huge chunk of the population cleaning the houses of a few. But we are in placed in a situation in which we really can't do much about because of the political and economical issues.
And our maid has the choice to stop this job and retire or open a retail store. Do you think we're giving her to do this? That we have her on a leash or something? Come on man...

hmm, don't recall saying that. i do recall saying racing series are used to help car step up their game when it comes to making more efficient cars. have you noticed the change in formula 1 engines over the year? oh, right, you haven't. you only watch to be a cheerleader for the team you think is coolest.
So, why am I lame for saying that I don't believe in cars? Even you won't admit that the combustion engine is a long term solution.

I won't get into the "i'm a better fan than you" discussion. I enjoy it when they go fast as fuck and I cheer for this guy Alonso because he has mad skills. That's it for me.

You're choice of words. Believing in cars. Cars exist and it's undeniable fact. But you can say that you are against the mass-usage of vehicles in most countries because of the damages it causes. I'm pretty sure you're getting bashed by 'em because of your choice of words.

it's not even about being a better fan. it's about you saying cars suck and then supporting the highest level competition which develops technology for cars

Any guy with half a brain automatically deducts what I mean by believing in cars :p

Cars do suck and Formula 1 is awesome. If they can keep the sport going without manufacturing private cars, fine. If not - too bad F1.

And which half of the brain handles deductive reasoning?
The opposite of the one you are trolling with :p

Think it through, you'll get it eventually.

Even ALC agrees that cars aren't feasible (cars in the way we know them today).
Nah, if we get high mileages which we're well on the way to achieving, internal combustion cars should be fine. so much more pollution comes from airplanes going everywhere around the globe all the time. the car thing is kinda blown out of proportion just because it's more in our face.

electrical cars seem to be making good strides too. fisker, tesla, volt, all great first steps to clean cars.
