I could never hunt anything, I'm not fast enough or bright enough. I'll be the farmer, you'll be the hunter.

We'll organize in villages, each one specialize in his field. A little communism never hurt anyone.
But isn't that how it works today.

And why is it that the biggest consumer whore in here all of a sudden is going all Hippie about being manly and self-sufficient?

    @Burke.

They're not manuals per se with a stick shift and clutch. Sure you can change the gears yourself but that's not what we were talking about.
No, many of them still have clutches and stick shifts.

    So GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!
Not akin, but every man at one point years back knew all those things and more they were rights of passage and now men have become shells of themselves " pussified" if you will
Yes it's fucking idiotic. To call me "pussified" because I don't shoot small defenseless animals for sport or jerk off to car magazines. None of that nonsense defines how "manly" someone is and if you feel the need that badly to constantly seek approval of your manliness from others by trying to show off the size of your dick extensions then I'd say you're the one who is a fucking pussy.

Ummm yea once again read above. You Misread what I posted. Your being touchy because of you not because of what I said.
Jesus Christ, you're the Janna of the English language......or maybe Dutch?

In any case, I'd rather read her incoherent drivel half of the time.
That's what I was trying to point out. Those were things men did it was part of their rite of passage. Now the only thing that differentiates men from women is biology
......and you have a problem with women being able to do what we traditionally did, and vice versa, sexist?
Ps I love baking, cooking etc I wash my own clothes and am anal about cleanliness. In the end doing those things doesn't make you less manly its loosing the other things which is worrisome
    I bet you love anal.
No I was saying that men had a certain rite of passage and we knew certain things. The gender of man has changed and left a whole lot in the past which I don't believe is healthy
As a species, we're more healthy than ever before.
Well do you think I'm off base ? Has man the species not lost something over the years? Being thrown in cubicles, having to exert psychical energy only at the gym ?
Yes, I think you're off base.
So why does getting smarter mean that man shouldn't know how to change a tire? Or oil or fish or hunt or build something with his hands? Shit most men don't even know how to cut their own grass
Knowing how to cut grass, and having to do it are very different things.
Ok so lets say there is a massive event all that is gone what will today's modern man do? Die out.
No, they will do something I'm sure you also don't believe in.....

    EVOLVE!

    :rndh:

Yeah when we have to go back to living in the woods or in a cave those oil change skills will really come in handy.

I guarentee there are a shit load on here who can't do either
Once again, knowing how to do something and actually doing it are very different.
I've changed a tire before, tough guy. Done an oil change too. And I don't even own a car.
    :lol2:
Sure who wouldn't buy those with some kind of skills other than typing and Internet surfing have a shit better chance
    You're right, dexterity is overrated.
What survival skills do you have if any? Can you hunt? Grow vegetables? Can you even kill an animal or skin a fish? Can you build some kind of a building for shelter?
I can do every one of these exceptionally well.

Once again you continuously say I'm a consumer whore with no evidence beside my new car. I guess everyone who buys something is in turn a consumer whore
No, buying something needlessly and gloating about it makes you a consumer whore.

Take your whole sixteen year-old girl "look-at-me" attitude and fuck yourself.

First I never said a woman doing any of those is wrong but to my point women are still feminine even of they learn those things. Men on the other hand are less masculine.
