Something that fucks me off is how quick the media is too rubbish our scudetto campaign. Everytime meelan go ahead, even when we have games in hand, they just make out as if its normal and we shouldn't have been there in the first place. Cunts.

Well let's say you still have some work to do to reach full emotional stability, but you're making progress. :D
I disagree :p

You know me by the words I type on here, not by the person I am and the voice I use to say those words. I am really stable with my emotions - I stay steady in the middle ground. When you are in a relationship then everything in your life becomes better because you have someone to share with and say nice things to and hear nice things about yourself and someone to be intimate with, when im out of a relationship I don't change as a person I just lose the bonus that comes from being in a relationship.

Basically how rap was born. Almost every rap song is about haters gonna hate, I know I'm the man and so on and so forth. A long ritual to convince the fragile self that the lack of external reinforcement doesn't mean you suck.

So you're just a complainer basically? I don't practice the art as much anymore but I used to be one of the finest.

Yep, but on important issues - Im not gonna get in someones face in restaurant if they aren't smilling when they bring me food or if my coffee was 1oC off temp, but when I see stuff like racism being promoted or sexism/objectivism by either sex, the I will say something about it. I am probably the most politically correct person in the world :weee:, but only because I a humanist, i love humanity - for all its idiots and genuis's and I hate seeing divides being generated/perpetuated that just don''t exist. Its only of the reasons I so vehemently oppose 'sovereign states'.

I've spoken to him about it before and I don't get why he doesn't like it, his reasons don't make sense to me. I just find the bulk of the people here to be narrow minded, ignorant, inherently racist/homophobic/sexist and I don't feel comfortable living here. I have nothing to say to the people that live here. I only have 4/5 friends that are British and they have the some opinion as me.

If you want a simple way of understanding it - The Sun, The Daily Mail, The Telegraph and the Daily Express are the most read newspapers (in that order) in Britain - I can't live in a country this stupid.

I see it is probably also because you travelled the world. I don't know many British people beside this forum so I can't judge but I do understand you and how you are.

You seems like a person who likes to discuss about a lot of things in live. And then it is very annoying to live between people who believe those tabloids are the truth. But I do see a lot of quality tv programmes coming from England. I do know the name but it looks more interesting and funnier then the dutch tv programmes. The only people you see here in Holland are drunk and high around football games ofcourse I think they are so dumb but I never saw those as the majority of the people from England

I know these problems I have are universal, im not naive. But for me its a deeper problem - I don't feel welcome here and I don't feel comfortable here. When im in France I feel...right?...it feels like home to me, even though France, socially, has a lot more problems that the UK. It wasn't something that came about from travelling - one of the reasons I actually went travelling was in the hope I would find somewhere to call home, and if I found it I didn't plan on coming home.

My mind is a nightmare to be in, It never shuts up and never gives up -- analysing and over analysing and re analysing. I wish I could have a break. That isn't a proclamation of inteligence btw.

I am worse than racist though. I am a snobbist. Not an elitist either...far too snobbist for that.
Me too.

Love is nothing but obsession.
I know, and it's rough.

Well my current girlfriend has broken one of my big rules as shes three years younger than me - I have, not through choice really, only ever dated girls that were at least a year older than me, my previous two gfs were 3 & 4 years and I still felt more mature than them. But Ania is different :)
Age is something I am very aware of in relationships. At first I had only ever dated men younger than me, but it was no good in every case. The only really good, adult relationships I've had have been with older men.

I see. I don't find the french very open for other people then French. When I was there it was very hard to get connected with the local people and they don't speak any other language then French. But it depends on the people you meet ofcourse.

Really I would never date a guy who is younger then me. People call me mature for my age. And I hate inmature dates :)

I think they can be quite closed, especially in Paris, but not always. But then I have an unnatural love of them ;)

It certainly opened up my eyes to things I can't handle in a relationship.

Kate, how do you define a prefect guy and somebody who's ok to be in a relationship with, what do you 'ask' from one? (Or just describe your boyfriend, because I guess he took that place)
At this point in my life, and it took a long time to get here, I would say that I value most a man who is kind, warm and funny. Someone that I could feel absolutely comfortable with, you can vomit in front of them, fart in front of them, etc. Kindness is the most important trait, because you can always build a relationship from there.

My perfect guy can't exist, because he would be all of those things, but still maintain a sense of intrigue that you lose once you enter into a comfortable long-term relationship.

From being naive and thinking I could change people, or that playing mind games was fun.

I didn't say you were in Paris, just that you can feel it most there.

And yes I did date younger men, because I liked the guys as individuals, but it didn't work out in the end. My boyfriend is 33 and I am 28.

I know I mean actually that I judge it on base of the place I was and the stories from other people. I can imagine Paris being like that.
Yes I understand, I do date only people I like :) but it is hard to get a nice talk and so on with guys younger. If I would date a 20 year he is probably still exciting about partying all the time, going to first year of study. While I feel I want more in life :)
you know what I mean.
