Wow, quite a productive day. I'm going to the gym later tonight. It's so much better when you go with someone else who's in better shape because you really get that push you need. I was exhausted from it yesterday.

This morning I was expecting to see some real gym psychos who would go when the doors open, but the people looked more like insomniacs.

I could really use someone to learn from too. I've been doing more or less the same routine for months and it doesn't feel like it's getting easier, like I'm making progress.

Like I'm ever gonna have one. :groan:
You surely are a positive person.

So I shaved.. and then met some girl in class the next day (it was wednesday i think) and she wouldn't believe my age when I told her, she kept saying she thought I was 17, fucking baby face.

What's your routine? Maybe it's time to sheik up things a little.

Oh, and what a lazy gym you're in, mine opens at 5 am. :D

@Martin & ALC

If you don't change up your routine every now and then your body familiarises itself to your workout and the affects are lessened. It's one thing to add a weight on here or there, or run that extra mile but if your not introducing new methods or challenges you might never notice a massive difference.

EDIT: as Gabriel put it, Sheik things up :D

I do 3km on the treadmill, takes me about 24 minutes of some walking and some running. That's my level of fitness. :D

Then I do some minor other stuff for the arms mostly.

It's basically as it sounds, like inner strength, no that sounds wrong... it's where all your body's movements originate. But yes mostly it works your midsection. Things like side-bridges and variations of planks are easy ones to do that don't necessitate any equipment, but I found using the wire-machines or squat racks are the most beneficial

I do planks but I last about 25 seconds, more or less the same as when I started a couple months ago.
Push for a minute next time, or as close as possible, then move it up again as soon as you start to find it easy again.

this is a side bridge in-case you're wonderin'
you can do elevated versions of this involving dips, which you can then progress to incorporate weights too :tup:

Thanks for this. I am always looking for new things to do.
