I download the program, and the installer pops up. I install it, but after the installation no application is installed nor can I find it anywhere through the Finder.

Have you tried manually dragging it into your Applications folder? If that doesn't work it probably has something to do with the program. So you might try re-downloading it.

I did that, the controller is connected now but my buttons are all fucked up in FIFA. Do you have a tip for which program I should install to change the assigned buttons?
