Since when are you thinking of yourself as a normal human being?
haha, thats going on my fb :D. It depends how you define normal, im a humanist with nihilistic tendencies and a massive realism complex.

So I see the huge potential humanity has, then I get fed up with watching it get pissed away and give up caring, "zombies with credit cards" etc., and then realise none of it matters anyway.

Makes you give up on life...bah im too old.

Lucky you. Last night I had a dream that I was in middle school, somehow still had my car, and some enormously fat kid was following me around and talking shit.

It's the first time I've actually remembered one of my dreams in months. Probably in no small part to the dream discussion we had here a night before. :D
Dude, same here. Middle school, but the same age. Some friend was being mean to this hot chick in the cafeteria and I actually woke up from laughing. That's the only reason I remember it. And it happened today.

I'm always running away from someone in my dreams and I always end up in the place I spent my childhood in.

You are too young, too smart and definitely not normal by my standards :)

I get those all of the time! My most frequent dreams involve running away from something (which I find invigorating) or are set in a place from my childhood. Either way, I find both strangely comforting.

I have the childhood ones a lot and ones where I'm running around fighting things during a big battle.

I know, right!? I did have one where I was in love with one of my profs the other day, though, that was weirdly nice...
So it's a real desire of yours then?

I can't remember any of my best dreams now :depressed

I used to have this weird recurring nightmare when I was a kid. Nothing except a whitebackground with black dots appearing in a pattern and screaming in the background. Had it every so often for years.

No, definitely not a real desire, but it wasn't horrible.

That's a really weird recurring dream, any thoughts of what it might mean?
