Fuck every other brand, go for bose nose cancelling range or look at harmon/kardon. Being in India, you should be able to get them for next to nothing & still bargain down the price.

I've come to believe that the term "noise cancelling" (though I like "nose cancelling" ... maybe Kate can benefit from "chin cancelling") is one of the bigger marketing scams going in headphones.
