They do have an anti American stance. But they were definitely not anti America in the Libyan conflict. You know its funny, the Libyan and Syrian regime in particular say that Al Jazeera is a western agent.
You might be right that they were anti america at the expense of highlighting arab autocratic barbarism as you put it, in the Iraqi conflict. But then again, despite Saddam being a terrible person, the Americans actually made Iraq worse off than they were before in the eyes of many Arabs and Iraqi's.
