No no, you put it into a plastic ziplock bag and then boil it. It's safe in the bag, fluffs up nicely and shapes perfectly.
that is an interesting technique you got there andy, may have to give that a bash, certainly saves on a lot of fat/butter/oil

It's the best and easiest way I've come across to make an omelet at home. The best thing about it is that the egg becomes fluffy like a right fanny. And yeah none of that greasy oil nonsense.

nah is interesting to say the least, i love omelette and this could work nicely as a healthier option

though would certainly not be very good with spanish omelette's,any normal one would be sweet as

That method is highly recommended by the Boyscouts of America. It's great for camping, but you don't get all the flavor you do from cooking stove top.
