In all honesty, yes Em's response is dope but its not like hr "killed" MGK. MGK's diss song was dope and energetic. The thing is that Em was the one responding so of course it seems like Em came far better. If it was the other way arround and MGKs song was the response people would have commented with "Em is dead", " The king is dead" ect. Also, i dont think that MGK went into this duel expecting to win ot, he kbows who Eminem is and what he is capable of, i think he just wanted to get these stuff off of his chest cause like many rappers he is sick and tired of Eminem dissing everyone left and right without ever someone comming back at him. Who knows, it remains to be seen whether MGK will respond.

Really? Thought Em's is a great song. More for the flow than for the disses, but still.

MGK's song was a meme of a diss track. His "your beard is weard" line is my favorite  Guy can't rap to save his life and Em did in fact bury him, just like everybody expected him to.

As for responding - If he's smart, he'll keep his mouth shut, there is no way for him to come back after this, he's simply not good enough of a rapper and will only further embarras himself.

He's prolly gonna milk the situation for Youtube clicks though, and respond - just like Em called it "you’re a fucking mole hill, now Imma make a mountain out of you."

I think it is all part of the popular music scene.

Look at a more extreme example someone like Cardi B or Tekashi. They are only famous because of their wild personality. Terrible forgettable music, they are entertainers rather than artists. Even if you disagree that it is terrible, there is little unique about it making them easily replaceable by the next flavor of the week.

The way you avoid that is by acting scandalous and wild but then you have to continually escalate that wild too and you end up showing up to a court of law looking like this:

Killshot, to me, really underlines how out of touch EM has become. He is a better rapper than mgk, but Rap Devil brings alot more truth than killshot.

The classiest of legends turns 50 :touched:

50? Just a year older than me. Oh man, I remember when I went to the record store to pick up his first tape :touched: He was so smooth and unique

And then his 2nd album was even better. It was produced by Teddy Riley.

I get the job done. I work. Baby.

I didnt know you were that old Serge :D

No half stepping is this still one of the most lyrically impressive rap songs ever for me.

I occasionally put this on at work to mess with co-workers after we finish a big project lol

I saw Dela soul on a festival not long ago, was so dope!

You know, they are possibly my favorite hip hop act of all time, but I have only seen them once, and that was nearly 30 years ago. They had come out with 3 feet high and rising a few months before that and "Me, Myself and I " was just starting to blow up.

You know who came with them? If you said "A Tribe Called Quest", you win the grand prize. Jungle Brothers were there too.
