Soundgarden - Bones of Birds

so far I don't like the album (downloaded it yesterday), but man this song is really nice.
....and you like radiohead and mumford & sons..

And you could've bought it at least :p I bought the CD version.

Bones of Birds sounds more like Audioslave than Soundgarden to me.

My faves are: 'Worse Dreams', 'By Crooked Steps', 'Attrition', 'Non-State Actor' and 'Been Away Too Long'.

Best news of this week: Dave Grohl is backing drumming in QOTSA! One of my favorite bands of all time, I should say. :)

If you haven't heard Queens of the Stone Age before, these are two good tracks to start with. :D:

Enjoy Dave Grohl's beautiful drums when he's best:

Yeah, I've always loved all three Audioslave albums (especially the last one) way more than most of the Soundgarden stuff so you might be right about Bones of Birds sounding a bit audioslavish, probably that's why I like it the most. See, it's a matter of taste and mine will always be better than yours no matter how you try to convince me otherwise :p

Stereophonics - In A Moment
They released their second single from their new album (coming out January/February I guess), now that's an album I really look forward to, even if I liked Violins and Tambourines (their first single) more that this one.

Early 80s Northern Ireland chic. :D

Still, some sensational lines in the song:

I've got a cousin called Kevin
He's sure to go to heaven
Always spotless, clean and neat
As smooth as you’ll get 'em

He's got a fur lined sheepskin jacket
My ma said they cost a packet
But she won't even let me explain
That me and Kevin we’re just not the same

Oh, my perfect cousin
What I like to do he doesn't
He's his family's pride and joy

His mother’s little golden boy

He's got a degree in economics
Maths, physics and bionics
He thinks that I'm a cabbage
'Cause I hate University Challenge
Even at the age of ten
Smart boy Kevin was a smart boy then
He always beat me at Subbuteo
'Cause he 'flicked to kick’
And I didn't know

Oh, my perfect cousin
What I like to do he doesn't
He's his family's pride and joy

His mother’s little golden boy

His mother bought him a synthesiser
Got the Human League into advise her
Now he's making lots of noise
Playing along with the art school boys
Girls try to attract his attention
But what a shame, it's in vain, total rejection
He will never be left on the shelf
'Cause Kevin, he's in love with himself

Fuck off :D

p.s. Soundgarden >>>>>>>>>>>> Audioslave. That's like not even opinion, it's pretty much fact.
