Bones of Birds sounds more like Audioslave than Soundgarden to me.
My faves are: 'Worse Dreams', 'By Crooked Steps', 'Attrition', 'Non-State Actor' and 'Been Away Too Long'.

They released their second single from their new album (coming out January/February I guess), now that's an album I really look forward to, even if I liked Violins and Tambourines (their first single) more that this one.
Early 80s Northern Ireland chic.

Yeah, I've always loved all three Audioslave albums (especially the last one) way more than most of the Soundgarden stuff so you might be right about Bones of Birds sounding a bit audioslavish, probably that's why I like it the most. See, it's a matter of taste and mine will always be better than yours no matter how you try to convince me otherwise
p.s. Soundgarden >>>>>>>>>>>> Audioslave. That's like not even opinion, it's pretty much fact.
