Yeah it definetly grew on me. Alex and miles kane (the rascals) both loved Bowie and are trying to create a sound of it for today, however I think it sounds quite 60's sort of the style that the go-go girls used to dance to.
In their video it is obvious that they are trying to emulate the beatles, something they shouldn't do, because it can never be done.
