Mcnuggets, just like Fagiot, is the reason why we've become a shitstain o a football club. We used to have quality and warriors in midfield - now we have players who epitomize mediocrity and somehow we celebrate it. This is, without doubt, the worst midfield lineup in Juventus history.

Thought he did well overall but his use of the ball was really poor at times, particularly in that 10/15min spell in the second half where we were under intense pressure.

But he defended well and is doing better at blocking crosses, although still needs to improve on that.

Of course I’m going to root for him because he’s American. But what happened to that whole Juventus grinta that people loved in the past? I think he exudes it.

And honestly, while I will root for my compatriots, I get that he isn’t amazing. I look back to when I played the game myself and had heroes like Del Piero and Baggio to watch. From a player idol perspective, I really have nothing in common with McKennie whatsoever.

that's why automated stats based ratings can be so, so misleading

not that mckennie was afwul, far from it. his defending stats are great: 6 tackles, 3 interceptions, 8 clearances, 1 block, pretty nice. on the other hand, only 13 accurate passes (52%), 0/4 accurate long balls, 0/2 successful dribbles, 8/15 duels won, possession lost 24 (!!!) times, hardly impressive
