:agree:

Was our worst mid, by a substantial margin post-February. And that speaks volumes, given the competition. I still think he has good potential, and raw talent, but he’s nowhere near a finished product yet, or the level a Juventus starting CM should be at. He may get there, I hope he does. But this “best CM” stuff is cute.
Rabiot had good spells and produced some good moments of quality that are other mids cant like that run and cross for Ronaldos header against udinese that won us the match and pretty much got us top 4. He is just lazy, french pussy at times and cant do it often enough.

But cant say any of the mids where that amazing over each other.

I he wants to swap him for Arthur I'm all for it. We'll even throw in Ramsey as bonus.
Agree. Value wise based on transfer fee and amortization, Ndombele would be on par with Arthur. Both also have high wages.

It should be Arthur - Ndombele swap if Tici want to do it. Arthur is one player he brings here

Yeah, I’m not a big fan of Ndombele, post-Lyon. Seems to be a bit of mental midget player. But people making stuff up to overrate the wand waver again lol

While I don’t disagree that Ndombele is a flop at Spurs, he is 24. Mckennie is 23 in a week. Mckennie had a couple very good months mid-season and then sucked hard after February. Is he a flop too? Or we gonna blame Pirlo? Should we blame crazy, washed up Mou for Ndombele? Curious what the standard is…
I didn’t mention goal scoring or the skill of each player once. If you’re gonna get rid of your most sellable asset at least do it so you can get someone verified good who will improve your situation. If you can’t, don’t sell. Simples.

People have an oddly high opinion of McKennie. He played well for a few months mid season after a questionable start and poor end to the season. This was off the back of an underwhelming season at Schalke.

Yes, I know Pirlo didn't help but you'd think we were talking about prime Zidane here at times.

For me it is a big season for him at Juve. I could see him coming in and having a good season, adding the goal threat we need from midfield and equally I wouldn't be surprised if he had a poor one.

I suppose because his performances were so up and down that it is hard to judge who the real McKennie is.

He has shown potential but has shown weaknesses. A lot will depend on whether he can improve on them, age is definitely on his side though.

He missed 17 days in 2020/21. Only 6 days out if 365 (not matchdays, but days) were due to injuries, and 11 were due to covid. He played 46 official matches for Tottenham last year.
Still find it funny?
not as funny as you coming to hate on McKennie every chance you get.

also not as funny as Juve fans proposing to swap McKennie for a Tottenham flop

Outperforming? For a third of the season? He needs to do it for more than a couple months before being anointed as some top level CM. Lol

I’m sure y’all will blame Allegri if Mckennie gets benched for our other mids. Bjerknes has already started calling out Allegri for nepotism and bias against Mckennie and the season hasn’t even started yet
To be fair, he was injured for the second half of the season and was way over used during this period of time. Though it may have been out of necessity but I don’t recall your injury situation at the time.

Was only ever impressed by N'dombele in his Lyon highlights. When I finally saw him play full matches for Tottenham was hard to imagine this was the same guy. looked a total jabroni

People mistaken Ndombele as injury prone player while he playing 46 fuckin matches in all competitions for Spurs last season only miss 2 match by minor injury

Tuz Tuz Tuz :rolleyes2:
My argument is that he’s not that good. And won’t vastly improve your midfield. He’s been impressive a few times but not many. Get someone better.

Calma, Allegri will use Mckennie plenty. Even if he's not a starter.

I think its difficult to asses certain players based off of last season particularly the CMs. All of them were awful, none of them should still be here based off their performances of the last season. Plenty of that blame lays with Pirlo imo

I didn’t mention you. You aren’t even a Juve fan. And I don’t think you have been overrating Mckennie like your fellow citizens. Although I haven’t really paid attention to your posts in this thread.

Anyways. Agree 100%. I don’t want Ndombele.

They only give the Pirlo excuse to Mckennie. No one says poor Rabiot or Bentancur stuck playing under Pirlo. But Mckennie gets it every time someone says he wasn’t amazing for us. Pirlo’s fault.
