Imo we wouldn't miss Mc Kennie even if we sold him.
In this case, my only concern would be the number of our MIDs on roster (the quality is other thing :D ).
Arthur's recovery could take 1-2 months yet (I guess), Rabiot injured too and who knows when Ramsey will get injured too.
Arthur, Ramsey, Bentancur, Rabiot, Locatelli, not a sexy midfield I would fight in Serie A and UCL with. (I think Ranocchia and Fagioli will be loaned too).

Ndombele is the better player, and more strong presence in midfield (we will win more aerial challenge), but Kennie actually can get to that level someday
He is rarely injured too, last season he only miss countable match and get 44 matches all season

He is just slightly slower than McKennie, but I really think Allegri will love Ndombele than McKennie. Ndombele is like a skillful and upgrade Sissoko or Matuidi for Allegri. Both can offer the same outcome but Kennie will have more dynamic (but it still can be replaceable by the movement by our more attacker players)
And we will have more chance to control the midfield with Ndombele compare to Kennie right now

Don't think Kennie has that calm dribbling when he is surrounded by the opponents

Ndombele was a monster in Lyon, in spurts for Tottenham. Is a midfield dynamo when healthy and fit. Consistency is the key with him. He needs a fresh start, has had too much bad luck in Spurs.

that's a good point. now that arthur and rabiot are injured and locatelli isn't ready yet, mckennie should surely start. but he's apparently behind bentancur, ramsey, and now berna in the pecking order.

i appreciate mckennie and i'd keep him, he's a good depth option and offers different qualities than our other mids, still, if the coach wouldn't use him too much, it's not worth refusing a good offer and bench him for a season just to sell him next summer for even cheaper

I wouldn't mind keeping him. Imo I'd rather sell Arthur, Ramsey and Rabiot (in that order) before I sell McDonalds. However, selling those three seems impossible, and if we're in need of funds, then I don't him selling the American one bit. Also, I expect a lot better performances from Bentancur because he was quite solid under Allegri, imo he's a very useful player despite his shit performances last season.

Also, Locatelli not being ready is not something I agree with. I think there's a myth behind "he needs time to settle" which came from Football Manager. Sure, if a player comes from other country and doesn't know language, it can be applied to some extent, but it's still exaggerated imo. Vidal, Pogba, Tevez and other players made an instant impact in the team. Locatelli is settled in Italy for years. We also changed coach so our team is rusty overall, we're starting something new so even our seniors will need some time to get used to Allegri's tactics (or tactics generally since we didn't use those last season), so I think starting Locatelli right from the start is a good idea.

Good point. No sense in keeping McKennie if he’s always going to be benched regardless of how he performs. Allegri seems hell bent on imposing his Bernardeschi fetish on the team, just like the other old boys he used to have, so I don’t think this player is going to get the help he needs. I could see him being a fit at Hot Spurts, especially since they are trying to offload Moussa Sissoko. For McKennie it might be a win because he’ll get away from the nepotism and play in a more exciting league.

In general yes. But in this instance tho? I like McKennie but Ndombele is the better player.
Idk Not at all a McKennie fanboy, but Ndombele has had a shite time at Tottenham with injuries and whatnot. I don't want to trade him for Mckennie.

He can have some of his other scrubs he brought in instead, like Arthur.

Arthur!
The difference in both passing, dribbling, ball winning skills is significant enough between the two players that its worth saying yes to this hypothetical trade before they have time to regret it. Perfect two way qualities in general, him and Locatelli would be dynamic pair.

The injury issues seems behind him, just bad luck. His lingering flaw seems more concentration/focus to not allways play in the same intensity in games. Why he had difficulties with Mourinho.

P.S Ofcourse I would trade any of the other turds in midfield, but doubt they are offering for them.
