A player that next year will be free, that everybdy knows we dont want and that his salary demands are 5M per year... yeah... selling him will be piece of cake...

We dont want him because his contract is expiring. Fofana in Monaco, Thuram in Nice also have expiring contract. I wonder what is in McKennie's mind. Read his interview that he wants to play in Champions League (Villa is in it), If he want PL team look on him, the better way is to play in PL (Villa is in PL) but he refused the option.
So i wonder what will be fit for him.

at this point the most realistic plan might be to stay for his last year with jj, not renew and negotiate the best possible contract as a free agent

too bad for him that he won't get a better offer than villa's. not even marotta would top that lol

let's just hope that some team like spurs get desperate for a decent midfielder. otherwise he'll leave as a free agent

you get a monthly ban if you don't keep your promise. ban espectro if you do

also good luck convincing big mac to play in a league nobody's watching for a salary of 1-2m tops

to be fair i don't think he cares which league it's in as long as someone pays him salary demand or closest to it.

i know if i was a ok player, i would be looking at who pays me most, not if club is in CL.

USA facing better competition this Copa with SA countries involved which means if Wes plays well could get his desired salary. I would have taken the deal. Always root for my country but just shows with Weah on roster how weak of a squad. Good news, Weah has contract till 2028. Bad news, Weah has contract till 2028. :D

“When I went there, my head was more, ‘OK, I want to go here, perform very well, put up numbers, help the team stay up and then hopefully another Premier League team, top five, comes in and sees how well I’ve played and then they would buy me.’

“With all the respect to Leeds and their fans, I love Champions League football.

“I’m not someone that’s problematic. I don’t like to cause problems. I don’t like uncomfortable situations. I don’t like drama. I just try and let my football, my actions and my work ethic show everything about me, because that’s when I feel like I’m at my best.”

Is this guy serious?

1. Desire to be bought by top 5 PL team;
2. Refuse to join top 4 PL team;
3. Cause drama and be problematic;
4. Say you never cause drama and you are not problematic;
5. ???
6. Profit
