He’s coming off a productive szn. His value won’t be higher unless he repeats.

Take profits at peak value. This applies to any asset

I hope that's true, but his contract is expiring and he won't renew, that lowers his value. He needs to be sold, but I doubt he will have that much suitors after his Leeds loan spell despite the good season he just had.

But hope its as you say and he actually gets decent bids. That he won't reject again. Because if he rejects 4m a year and a CL team. Who the hell will he accept.

We are all jaded and skeptical of the club management after the last 8 szns. Therefore we can only trust that we have competent people in charge now who can create markets and also arbitrage them

Those few nights with Chiara Frattesi really got to his head huh?
LOL yes he won't get anything nearly that nice in England!

Lets take the analogy you are using.. lets say you did a good job and you think you deserve a raise... that doesnt mean you go and ask whatever you think or ven go and ask twice you earn...

McK can go and ask for a raise, but go and ask for double his salary and a compensation from Juventus is just insane
Not doubting above but could you please show me where you read Wes demanding twice his salary. If that's the case no way he deserves that just like Rabiot doesn't deserve his demands. Present yearly salary I see says 3.42M gross and 2.66m net. Thanks.

He wanted 5 mill wages to join villa on top of the fact he's already declined a contract extension from us because he wanted a significant rise which we rightfully declined.

4m net euros, he currently makes 2.66m euros net. So not quite double but nearly double.

And as for his request from Juve:

So:

- 4.7m net from Aston Villa and 2m from us for him to fuck off.

No idea it was Pedulla who reported the figure
When Italian media reports it, it's going to be net.

Thanks! Love his work effort but 4.7M net plus 2M way too much. He's going to end up staying there, probably not playing much and then looking for a future contract with no recent playing resume which IMO means he's screwed. Aston Villa from what I read is only wanting him as a money reduction getting rid off a high quality player like Luiz. They probably wish they didn't have to let go of Luiz Paying Wes that money does nothing to help them with financial issues.

Wes better hope he plays well in Copa and we better hope he doesn't get injured.

I edited it, my mistake on the money. That 4m already is euros. So its even less closer to double his current salary. Still, a big jump in wages and 2m from us to fuck off.

According to Fabrizio Romano he had a deal with Juventus from before regarding money he would recieve when making a transfer and he wanted Juve to respect the agreement from before.

Probably Giuntoli does not care about the deal he made with the old management, and that's where the issue is.
no surprise juventus acting like a scummy corporation. and you guys wonder why FIGC has a hard on for juve when they are screwing their own employees out of money

this applied to ronaldo too remember. he was owed wages. juve just wants to be the nestle of football.

Well well well, everyone who keeps insulting McKennie needs to apologize once again. How the tides have turned.

I hope the deal falls through on the basis of good faith.

Did he get it in writing? He should have if he was smart.
Well, oral contracts are still legally binding in many countries. @Seven

Romano gets his info from agents, and hes literally the only one that claimed this. Theyre not gonna blow up a 60M deal over a severance that they allegedly already agreed to beforehand. There wasn’t one report that McKennie agreed to terms with Aston Villa on a contract either. You’re telling me Juve would rather sacrifice a player they actually valued, while adding like 7M to the swap, instead of just giving McKennie his severance? Makes zero sense.

dude this is completely false and you know. juventus has a history of acting scummy when it comes to whats owed to players and only way juventus paid up is through lawsuits.

dybala and ronaldo had to SUE the club to get wages owed back. they realized juventus is a scummy corporation that will try and not pay back money owed unless bullied by lawyers.

It doesn't matter. McNuggets is betting on himself, hoping to get a big fat contract; however, I am willing to bet that after one year of being frozen out of the team and slurping milkshakes in the stands @ JJ, he won't be getting anywhere near 4 million, and no serious clubs will be targeting him.

rabiot was frozen out of the psg team entire season and got 9m salary for 4 years.

let me give you another example. llorente was given double his salary after being frozen entire season out when transfering for free from atheltic to juventus.

yeah he will easily get more than his current salary.

let me give you another example. juventus gave pogba a 10m per year salary despite him spending almost entire season before injured and not having done anything in 4 seasons since world cup.
