This guy has nothing to do with midfielder. No pass, no pace, no vision, no positioning, no keeping possession. He plays only by instinct, raw skill. Don't dislike him but any reasonable offer arrives, sell. Or at least don't start him any more.

Very limited player overall but could still turn out to be of much better use once we have a proper system that allows him to get in the opposition’s box more consistently and that also puts both Kostic and Cuadrado in a position to be able to send in multiple accurate crosses, hard to properly judge anyone when all the team looks as disjointed and as confused as they did against Sampdoria due to bs experiments with formations and player roles….

He is one of the few CM’s we have that are capable of actually scoring and being an aerial presence in the box so i understand why Max might be insisting with him, despite offering little otherwise he at least has important traits that we need and which the other midfielders are all clearly missing aside from maybe Locatelli who is also mainly played out of position and recently does not bring much in that sense either.

Rabiot was actually better than both Locatelli and McKennie.
Rabiot for 2-3M is actually fine as a rotation mid. He would put in more effort to gain a raise as well. But when a paratici comes to him with a raise offer, you have to let him go. Hes way too lazy and content with earning his paycheck to be seriously relied on at a top club. Still better than McKennie tho, thats without question, but that says little

He should realise his limitations as a footballer and stop trying flicks around the corner that rarely come off and lead to turnovers. Just focus on controlling that round object and passing it accurately to begin with.
