Some interesting stats that don’t necessarily tell the whole story but do give a pretty good picture of how much he has improved lately, although as mentioned before he sure still has many other aspects of his game to keep working on.
McK took a giant leap this season but I still see him as overachiever.
He has some good aspects in his game and apparently he got his brain transplant this year so you see him moving properly. He is indeed our MVP in midfield but he isnt a top player but more of a player with good attributes who is having a good season.
40M and more we should definitely sell him and if Man Utd want him - We can demand whatever we want - He doesnt possess Rabiot`s wages so I see no problem with Man Utd reaching an agreement with him.

I dont mind if we keep him though. He is a fighter and he can also play on the right when needed.
Rabiot on the other hand is more of a complete player but I`d sell Rabiot in seconds should I have the opportunity. Rabiot is a well all rounded player with no major strengths - Its ok to have on as a sub to fit numerous positions but for a starter and with these wages - He needs to be shipped ASAP.

Locatelli - He should either wake up and play with more determination or he should get the kick in the ... as well

anyone saw that according to mombly, jj offered mcpotter a 2 year extension and mckennie wants a substantial raise?

regardless of this, if yanited want him, just milk them and move on.

How dare Mckennie ask for a raise after becoming one of the top performers this season. He should just play for free!

LOL yes exactly. Look there is no gaurantees he continues to perform well, but Juve should know McKennie will always give you 110%.

The throater above should know if every player coming to Juve asks for the moon, why shouldn't Weston? Issue with Juve management is they cater to players who don't deserve the money.

he's on 2.5m and was either shit or completely inconsistent for 3 seasons

let's double his wages because he finally started doing what he's been paid for all along
But he's playing well. He's playing better than other folks on the team who earn more. Locatelli, Sandro, Pogba :howler: so how can you seriously blame him for asking for more money? And what world do you live in where you're up for contract negotiations and you DON"T ask for more money?

rugani extended on lower wages. vlahovic will extend on spread out wages. allegri's new offer (if it will ever be made) will include considerably lower wages. rabiot won't get a higher offer either after being our best player last season (and falling behind that season this year - nothing guarantees that mcpotter won't be a similar case). chiesa won't get a raise either (why would he)

iirc only bremer got more, and yildiz will obviously get an improved contract

not hard to see that the club is downsizing its wage bill. ticiconomics and covid hit way too hard.

of course mckennie has every right to ask for anything he wants. he just not might get it, and for multiple reasons: club is living in a different reality compared to the aa era, and mckennie still has a competitive wage. but if the club will give him more than 2.5m then good for him. then good luck getting rid of him once he falls back to his leeds form.
