Juventus and Galatasaray have moved closer to agreeing a deal for Wesley Sneijder, according to reports.

The Dutch playmaker has been heavily linked with the Bianconeri in recent days, and the player’s agent had intimated that his client would be open to a return to Serie A.

However, last night Galatasaray’s vice-President insisted that the former Inter man would not leave unless Juve met his €20m release clause.

Now the Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Gala have softened their stance after a meeting with Sneijder’s agent.

The sports daily believes that after it Guido Albers made clear that the Dutch international would like to join the Old Lady, the Istanbul giants are now looking for a fee closer to €10m.

The newspaper states that while that is still in excess of the €7m Juventus are willing to pay, the gap between valuation and asking price is no longer unbridgeable, and a deal has moved significantly closer.

Such moves never collapse. Such moves we're interested in. Such moves will come back biting us in the ass. Such moves make "our CL mentality". Such moves are gonna leave us where we are.

Actually I was answering to a thread which states that Beppe is so tough while Gala's directors gives us an ultra hard times negotiating over Melo. That doesn't have anything with protecting their club..It's their's job.I just don't think that Beppe is so tough. That's it.

According to SKY now 7/8 million euros.

I turchi potrebbero richiedere per l'olandese 7/8 milioni e nel fine settimana potrebbe esserci un'accelerata nella trattativa.
They bought him before few years for 7.5 mil and now they will sell us for a 7/8 mil.? Better traders.

Sneijder agrees Juventus terms?

Reports in Turkey claim Wesley Sneijder has agreed terms with Juventus, and told Galatasaray he wants to leave.

The former Inter man has been the source of much speculation in recent weeks, and is believed to be close to securing a return to Serie A with the Bianconeri.

It was reported today that Gala and Juve are now much closer to agreeing a transfer fee for the 30-year-old, and now Turkish media claim that the player has agreed personal terms, despite the Istanbul club saying he is not for sale.

According to Milliyet, the Dutch international has verbally agreed terms on a contract worth €4.5m per year.

The newspaper reports that Sneijder informed the Galatasaray hierarchy in the aftermath of Sunday’s 2-0 win over Besiktas that he wants to be allowed to move to Turin, with further talks scheduled for tomorrow.
