Would love to see Kane get a yellow card today if he wears a rainbow armband. It's not in England or other European countries. Qatar says no to LGBT.

1. I agree that this doesnt really feel like a proper World Cup, dunno how they made it but it doesnt feel like it at all.
2. Fifa sponsor is flirting with Ecuador fans who were chanting that they want beer:

No idea about relegion, i watched highlight of opening ceremony and it was the Worst of any World event i've ever seen. even with plenty money spent - but it's too much about local Culture there and not considerate enough of an International Audience. Also too much in local language not understood by Audiences all over World.

So Neuer isn't gonna wear it

What a pussy.

Edit: Apparently no european team is gonna wear it.

Italy absolutely did the best thing by missing this shitshow.

Proud to support LGBT! LGBT lives matter!
What? You gonna give me a yellow card for wearing one-love armband? F*ck this sh*t, I'm out.
Out? This isn't Nole losing two-three tournaments out of 99,999 during his career

A player may have 1 or 2 chances to win it during his career if plays for the right nation. No doubt Leo, CR7, Ney would quit a few trophies from their past just to get this cup.

This has been a very entertaining WC so far imo.

I mean, I haven't actually seen the opening game, but from Infantino's hilarious statement, to the Qatari's changing their opinion the last second (alcohol in stadiums, fees for visiting supporters), to local fans being hired to fill the stadiums, to all the stadium & hotel construction issues, to €200 a night tent camps for visiting fans, to...

I think it's the best comedy I've seen in ages. And, best of all, you just get the feeling it can only get better.
