So much talent in that team, its just insane.

What are your toughts on who should be the next CF at germany ?

Schurrle ? Muller ? someone else ?

Thats what a great coach can do with alot of mediocre but diciplined players, a world class striker, and the best player in the world
I don't think Van Gaal is a great coach.

Man United fans are salivating after the Moyes treatment. It will be a hilarious moment of schadenfreude indeed when later in his tenure their fans start to realize their Messiah is a false one.

Muller probably. they dont have a good enough CF so Muller/Schurrle will play there the next 3-4 years atleast until someone pops up

In 15 years, he won two league trophies.
CL final dont count? He layed foundations for Jupp`s Bayern. Look it up where they were before him. I dont claim that he is one of the best out there, far from it, but he is well known to be capable of bringing stability and hard work to every club he is coaching, something that United need, after the mess Moyes left behind. His methods might be questionable, but they are effective. Current Holland side is nothing spectacular, they had more quality sides in the past, but it is down to him that these guys are playing above their limits and have genuine possibility to end current campaign triumphantly.

I have several objections about the starting eleven for Argentina.
Firstly, Biglia. He is bad, really bad player. In the recent game against Belgium he was more than average up disappeared. IMO, Gago would make a good partnership with Mascherano as he is great in creation.
Also, Enzo as RM is not so good idea. Argentina in this game needs to be more offensive and to take advantage, the weaknesses of the Dutch defense.
For Demichelis, i can't say anything. I can imagine that he will face a lot of troubles by Robben-RVP because he is really slow.

Anyway, i can't see many goals in this match. Much will depand by Messi's perfomance. I hope for a good match, with Albiceleste finally the winner.

A final means nothing if you don't win. And he didn't lay the foundation for Jupp's Bayern. He tooka great team and fucked them up after one season. The guy left Barcelona for relegation ffs

That great team that he took was the laughing stock in Europe, getting trashed by Barcelona 4-0 previously. And as Zizinho pointed above, he won two titles in Barca, hardly insufficient achievement for his time there.

You keep talking about his career from the 90' - you also think Capello is a great coach? Why don't you mention his second tenure at Barcelona? He's the Di Natale of managers.

There's a reason he doesn't stay at a club for long.

Yes there is a reason, players turn against him after a while, that is why his methods are questionable. He is short term fix, but in the long run United will need someone else.

And that's why he's not a great coach and hasn't been since the minnellium.
I didn't claim that he was one, merely responding to Swag's derogatory and unfounded comment that made look Van Gaal as some incompetent hack, while he has achieved success and it is not entirely unreasonable to expect him to achieve something important with United.
