Do they have anyone close enough to play like Di Maria in the midfield? Who will step in for him now.
Di Maria played in the midfield trio only against Bosnia, after it Messi asked to give him more attacking role and Sabella agreed
4231
Higuain
Lavezzi - Messi - Di Maria
Mascherano - Biglia
Basanta - Garay - Demichelis - Zabaleta

now they will be forced to move Lavezzii on the right wing and to use Palacio as LW, also they can switch into false 9 formation, will see

Jack is almost becoming an Argie fan at this point lol, his sarcastic positive predictions of them to mock makes sound like a total shipper of them more and more :D But you, you are just a straight up hater :p So if Deneb is referring to anyone, its you, you are the kind to spam hatred and negativity mischeviously even in the most joyous moments ;)
But my positive predictions are not sarcastic, I have reallt considered them favourites ever since and the feeling that they will take it all is growing. I don't really care who wins international tournaments, I am totally detatched in that respect but I really can't stand Messi. That's all about it.

That young huh?

This WC has strong Germany, quite tactically astute Dutchies, okish Brasil and Argentina that looked like a real team for once.

Essentially 4 big footie nations. Even if yes they are rather boring bunch...

WC 2002 had a very good Brasil, very average Germany and Turkey and South Korea
With very bad haircuts.

WC is over for Di Maria, now Args are officially fucked up
People have been saying that since day 1 and look where they are now.

Aguero's injury is a blessing for Argentina. So far Sabella has not shown his tactical genius, Argentina will have too much fire power for Netherlands but they can be outwit by LVG.

They are without Aguero and Di Maria now, their 2 best players after Messi, what more can i say
You can keep saying your wishful thinking that they will eventually lose.

Netherlands, Argentina, Brazil, and Germany in that order. Anyone but the $#@!ing Germans winning this. Oh, and someone put Muller out for good with a karate tackle or something. Such a unlikable, emotionless faced $#@! he is.
+1

They play like shit but because of others injuries they can actually win it.

It's amazing how many great Argentina sides since 1990 failed to make it to the semi finals, and now the worst Argentina side I have ever seen gets there.

Modern football = pants.

Argentina has been my second fave in this WC because they are playing in Brazil and they have the best attacking line up and a top 4 worthy midfield.
Defensively they have some concern , but as we see in this WC , its the organization that matters, and screened by Mascherano it is a strong Argentinian team.
