I wondered at which point the quiet under-the-radar optimism brought by this young England squad might turn into the tried and trusted biennial arrogance and ignorance. But then Lawrenson is a Liverpool fan, so I guess he is basing a lot of this on their season.

England can quite easily win the game, but there is no need to set yourself as a dick about it.

hmm, the Balkan teams look interesting (Croatia, Bosnia and even Greece), Russia could surprise and Belgium/Colombia obviously. i would personaly like Algeria to go far...
