no I'm sorry but german football need strong figure for glory, he was a good coach after the gap germany had in 2004-2006 he did well from 2006-2010 time but germany developed and has a great generation of talented players. A extra step is needed now, something Sammer could give to this german team, but Bayern is really lucky to have Sammer, he's was the brain last season for bayerns success, he's that kind of person you dont want to have a dispute with, Germany need someone like him, maybe Kahn or Effenberg in the future.

Just curious, has anyone here been to a world cup before? I'm just in the process of trying to suss tickets out (they got released today), but I can't find a match schedule anywhere! :(
If anyone could be of any help I'd greatly appreciate it! :)

    Yep. There's a lottery draw before the lots of teams are known. I'm in that, because I'm going no matter. Then there's a lottery draw once the groups are announced.

    Yup. I lived in Palo Alto during the 1994WC and had Brazilians overrun our town. (The games were played just a few meters from where Juve just practiced this summer.)

    Was in Cape Town for the last half of 2010WC. Went to the SF match between Uruguay and the Netherlands. It was an awesome environment. I watched the Germany-Aregntina QF from the Fan Zone outside the stadium and the Final from the streets of town on big TV monitors. It was actually a lot more fun outside of the matches than in the stadiums.

    The match schedule and locations have all been announced. We won't know the teams until Nov this year:
