Agreed, Argentina needs a proper central defender. I liked the way Zabaleta played but I dont see him there, I would place Mascherano in his Barcelona position to ensure good defending and possession.
A link up 5 is needed, Veron was great but I think Gago can fulfill that. If you had an oldschool 8 or 10 in place, Messi wouldnt had to go back so much to start plays from midfield.

The African teams suck. Ivory Coast will make it thru courtesy of a weak group, but they are relying on the old guard. Cameroon look clueless. Nigeria will go thru if they can beat Bosnia, as they are also in a weak group. I see Algeria shocking Russia to qualify, but the best African team, Ghana, won't make it as they have a tough group to contend with
