As long as he continues to act in a reasonably proper fashion, Barca are going to have to pay a lot of money for him, and I don't think they can do that right now.

I don't think he'll leave Arsenal this summer, unless he starts acting like a little bitch.

It looks increasingly more likely that he'll be staying for at least another year.

Van Bommel was immense throughout the tournament.
Definitely.

De Jong though, I find, is often underrated and labelled a dirty no-good player. He's been more valuable to our midfield than most people give him credit for, which became painfully obvious when we started De Zeeuw in the semis.

Give De Zeeuw some credit, he took a kick straight to his face and kept playing

I kinda wanted to see more from Van der Vaart during the cup though.

Against opponents that allowed us to play more football and less power, we should've used Van der Vaart more in that position next to vBommel.

Personally, I think we held on to playing Van Persie for too long. Spain had a similar situation with Torres and decided to go for the best option for the team, by putting Pedro on. Maybe should've put Van Persie on the wing more and Kuyt in the middle, or simply playing Huntelaar.

Ohhh, Van Nistelrooy.. how I would've loved to have you as a supersub.

Ah well, the thing is over now. Back to club football, and mainly Juve.

Yup i hoped to see that, i thought that replacing De Zeeuw with VdV during the Uruguay match won you the game. But i didn't wanted to see that same substitution against Spain i kinda felt you would lose the midfield taking out van bommel or de jong.. but whatever.

Van Persie was a huge dissappointment i can see where the coach was coming from though. Waiting to see if he could wake up in a decisive moment, i'm not really fond of Huntelaar tbh, nor Kuyt in the middle and RVP is not really a target man, on the wing he may have had a better WC but all in all he wasn't fit.. i wanted RVN there :frown:

Btw, what's Van Marwijk situation now? was he sacked? is he staying? personally i think he's brilliant. But i dunno if you guys over there are fed up with his style.

It's about my sig. The two teams that were screwed in 2002 won in 2006 and 2010.
Does this mean you're one step closer to accepting the existence of God? :snoop:

Obviously you are not very familiar with European culture as there is racism towards white people too. On a global scale the Japanese detest white people and especially white people with blue eyes, which makes going to Japan a no no for me. Your comment comes from feeling sorry for yourself because you're not white. Get over it.

Had you read my post thoroughly though, you would have seen that I was not talking about racism towards myself.

Saying you don't like black girls isn't really racist by the way. I have a white friend who has a thing for black girls and he doesn't like white girls. Would you call that racist?
Racism against white people (lol) has nothing to do with this. A Spaniard would have no reason to be racist against white people ffs. Well it'd be more appropriate to call him Spanish-American since he grew up here and Madrid (parents divorced and has a step-father) but half Japanese/half Spanish is what he is.

Of course not but the way he said it. You don't tell someone that their women are ugly except for those with a strain of white in them. If you don't see racism in that then you must be blind to it.
