I hope Van Persie wakes up.. the timing would be excellent. We'll struggle massively, and will automatically be pushed back plenty of times, even if we want to play forward. Our defence can't keep up with Spain's forwards though.

About Germany: They were really good for a couple of games, but I think some people didn't realise that big name teams like Argentina were just really not that good, or shit, rather. Allowing a Germany side that has played like they have so much space all over the pitch was suicide.

I didn't expect Spain to play better than they have so far, but I figured that if they would 'show up' Germany wouldn't have much say in the matter.
I hope RVP does, he needs to show up.

Anyways, have faith :toast:

Just as well I ignored your advice Alen.

Betting on N. Korea conceding most goals seems to have been a wise investment.
You didn't really ignore my advice and it wasn't an advice, it was a warning.
IIRC, you already had the bet taken when we talked about it, so you couldn't ignore my advice. :D

Either way, so long as no team concedes more than 6 goals at the weekend, I'll be home and dry.

Man, Europe is seriously rulling football. Best clubs, best national teams, best coaches, highest number of top players.

The others should simply stop trying.

Ya Western Europe is great. Along with Brazil and Argentina they really are the rulers of football. I wonder if African and Eastern European teams will ever catch up. :D
