The pain you feel when your team gets knocked out of the WC is really indescribable. I remember when Senegal scored the silver goal (retarded FIFA) in over time in '02. It was 4:30 am and I just sat there not saying a single word, expressionless staring at the TV screen.

Sorry Dusan. I know it hurts.

Your boys are to blame the most. But the stupid Aussies got on my nerves with their idiotic logic. They go on to score two goals and celebrate like they won the WC (What they were celebrating exactly?), but when they finally had a chance to do something great and qualify if they push forward to score two goals (or even one and then wait for the Germans to score one more), they started wasting time!
WTF???

What kind of idiotic logic is that? Why were they celebrating the 2:0 like mad and then decided to keep it? What would they get by keeping it?

Well done by the Australians. You'd think they would struggle after the Germany thrashing, but they came back strong, so they deserve credit. It would have been nice to play them again in a real match instead of a friendly.

Serbia just seemed like one of those sides that wouldn't live up to their qualification standards. It's unfortunate because they have some solid individual players, especially at the back and in Krasic, but as a team they let themselves down. While one of their fans was flashing the "Serb Unity" hand gesture, I thought they could use a bit more unity as a unit. Better luck next time, Dusan.

I'm still worried about Ghana's pace and strength, just like I was in 2006. Despite not having Essien they are still a solid team. The two obvious weaknesses they have are their finishing and defensive line, which works in our favor as we are hardly solid defensively. For the neutral, this knockout will be a good match as both sides are pretty even. Can't wait for Saturday.

Exactly. It did make absolutely no sense.

So we have the Germans?

Should be a real good game, I've watched them closly and they could trouble us while we could trouble them. I do think the midfield is going to be the key.

Fuck it, I'd rather I missed it.

I hurt my hand when Pantelic missed that last shot :sergio:
With the luck Ghana had, it would have been a great finale if the Serbs scored from offside, especially after the not given penalty kick.

Ghana were not really that lucky either. They had quite a few good chances to score.

I would have probably rooted for England had it been someone else other than Capello and with Beckham playing.
Why can't you root for them for me?

Don't know. You have obviously better players than Germany does and Argentinians are now so busy thinking that they are the best team for beating Nigeria, Greece and Korea :D

I hope you beat them both.
Marry me?:p
