Agreed.

I'm not 100% sure, but when the cross came in right before the goal, a Spain player was offide I think. When the final pass was made Iniesta was definitely on though.

Torres' fitness levels must have reached an all time low. He needs a couple of months off and extensive rehab. The guy cannot go on like this.
I think the goal was perfectly clear. Nothing to complain there. But the Dutch are really losing it over that corner kick

It was bad luck, but I can understand them for overreacting right now. They just lost a bloody World Cup 3 minutes before the penalties. I don't even want to imagine how that feels. I felt like dying when Croatia conceded a 121st minute goal in a Euro quarterfinal. This must hurt at least 10 times more.

When the first cross came in when Spain scored, Iniesta was in an offside position, should he not of been called offside due to the ball being intended for him. Hence making him active?

The hate towards Spain is really sad. Holland are just as "bad". You can be angry because of the poor refereeing standards this World Cup, but the players just want to win.

And people laughing at Robben: the guy was extremely fast and his speed got him the two chances in the first place.

no i wouldnt spain deserved to score holland should have finished its clear chances, and for the record i was rooting for holland
Come on man, you have to be a robot to stay calm in some situations. Even if we, as more or less neutrals, know that there is not much or anything to complain about, you can't expect the same behavior and logical thinking from the losing party of a WC final.

Let the Spanish celebrate, let the Dutch complain :)

Entertaining game, despite the lack of goals (there is more to football than goals)

Holland played their cards well by showing the aggressiveness the Germans lacked. They could have won it had they used their golden opportunities better. (flick the ball Robben... NOOO) Still, both sides deserved to hold the score to 0-0. Holland successfully neutralised the Spanish attack for most of the game and Cassillas has been decisive to say the least.

Also what Spain lacked in a good tactical plan, they won through sheer brilliance and quality in the players. Iniesta alone says it all. He forced the Dutch to make mistake after mistake in trying to stop him and well, that goal couldn't have been better.

But a part of me died in knowing that this Spain could have played much, much better throughout the whole world cup with such players. The gubbilion 1-0 results they got through this whole tournament don't do justice to what such a talented squad could have achieved instead.

Ah well, they deserved their win still. Too bad for the ref.
