Some of you should really show some respect to one of the best if not the best player to play your favorite sport. I don't know why all this hate against Diego.

I wanted Germany to win and I cheered for them but I can't act like some of you here do and insult Maradona... One of the few men that still has passion for this game.

Egotistical, petulant, stumpy little junkies do not deserve respect regardless of their talent.

That's really fantastic. Love her cute reaction to the camera. And her boobies.
did you know she was in illegal immirgant a while back in usa? she was caught and deported. and to think you could have made a deal to marry her to give her us citizenship in exchange for sexing her every day

In fairness though Lion theres always a plus and thats Alan Shearer,Alan Hansen can stop masturbating over Messi and ignoring every other player for Argentina.
real talk

Agree on all points Rab. I love him. No matter what, he is and he will always be the best player to ever play this game. His sad looks was beyond depressing for me. He was never up to this job but it's impossible not to like him.

To be honest I don't think it really matters who they have coming through individually, although having quality helps, German teams always have the self belief, work ethic and team play to go far in tournaments.
Hmmm, yeah, I can agree with you.

I must notice though that the sons and the grandsons of those workers who came to Germany from the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Africa etc in the 60's, 70's and 80's add a new moment in German football. I think that the fruits are there for us to see. The Germans, pedantic, serious and efficient as they are, succeeded in creating a great mixture and taking the best out of both mentalities and qualities. Those youth teams that won everything in the last two years were consisted (I think in at least 40-50%) of Germans with non-German roots. These boys went through the German schools, German way of life and thinking, but improved the football with their natural talent for it.

Ehh, some didn't show Zidane any respect in 2006.

It isn't a big deal, even though you will say otherwise.

I hated the sad looks on Maradona's face. It broke my heart. I wish he had been never chosen to coach Argentina :depressed
Why?

It was a great moment for him and for the fans world wide. Losing 4:0 today or 2:0 in the final wasn't much different. Only 1 gets to win the world cup and a defeat hurts nonetheless.

Argentinians love him way too much. He could lose 100:0 and they will still easily forgive him and they won't give him shit. He went through so much shit in his life. For most of it, it was his fault solely. He passed through that, proved to be stronger than it, and he will pass easily through this defeat too.
In the end he'll have only fond memories of his coaching career.
As a player he lost many times too, but it's not like he didn't get over it.

I am glad Maradona coached Argentina. He made this Wolrd Cup, at least for me, much more special than it really was. He sucked as a tactician and everyone knew it. He didn't disappoint anyone. He just made people smile with his passion and his celebrations.

:agree: Hiring him was a bonehead decision from the start. He was never likely going to do well and firing such a legend would be tough for the AFA.

Poor Diego, I wanted Germany to win but I can't help being somewhat sad that his World Cup is over.

i knew argentina will have hard time against strong team because they have only one midfielder (Mascherano) the rest attacking players who cant defend.

germany players were running in middle of the field like a training session with players falling behind them trying to get the ball.

lowe said that argentina have a real weakness in their midfield

Great job Germany, congrats Sab.

The amount of space Argentina allowed Germany in midfield / defence was absolutely shocking though, no sense of organization at all. From the first minute on, it was clear to see it was going to be daylight rape, unless one of the geniuses upfront would save the day for Argentina.

Disgraceful performance by Argentina, where it finally became clear Maradonna's been saved by his stars so far, not his coaching skills.

Germany took advantage of every bit of space they got brilliantly, and they looked good doing so. Fast, nice play, a joy to watch.
