They would have done a lot better than some of those clowns out there.
No doubt, but no way to stop this German machine. Lets be realistic. They closed down Messi, Higuain and Tevez, it wouldn't take a miracle for them to deal with Zanetti.

Zanetti never impressed with the NT, it's not like he would have impressed this time and against such an inform team like Germany.

And, if things go as expected, there should be more incoming talent in the near future.
Afterall, they won all youth tournaments, from u-17, u-19 to u-21. The u-21 guys already made their appearance (Ozil, Boateng, Khedira are stars of the senior team now, while Beck, Hummels, Aogo etc will certainly get their place) while the u-19 and u-17 guys will soon get a chance to show if they can continue as they started.

Bright future for Germany.
To be honest I don't think it really matters who they have coming through individually, although having quality helps, German teams always have the self belief, work ethic and team play to go far in tournaments.

No, but he sure does bring the ratings.

What's the quickest way to get Napoli out of the Serie A picture?

hire Maradona as their coach
:seven:

Good idea.

HUMILIATION!:lol2:

I can't think, fuck that was awesome:lol2:

Congrats, SabSabSabSabSabSabSabSabSabbbbbabbabababababababaaaaa.

He never was and everyone knew that.
That's why he had a team of people behind him. You don't think that they let Maradona work alone and make all the decisions, do you?

Of course he didn't. Like Klinsman for Germany in 2006, Maradona was only a motivator. Others took care of the rest.

No-one expected anything from Maradona. Afterall, working alone or with a team behind him, he still did better than Capello and Lippi.

Messi on the other hand....
I wouldn't really compare Klinsmann to Maradona. But it would be interesting to see what his assistants instructed him to do, because it doesn't look like much.

Yep, he winged it through the tournament based on his superior players and a couple of breaks, when it came to doing a bit of thinking he really didn't have an idea. Looking at Otamendi on the second Germany goal, it makes you laugh how Zanetti wasn't even in the squad.
Yeah, it's just laughable.

Brilliant match! Argentina were dumbfounded! They seemed lost! Germany were just like how they were against Australia and England. I couldn't believe it when the commentators here were all predicting Argentina to win it while Germany were SO good till then!

:delpiero: Germany

In fairness though Lion theres always a plus and thats Alan Shearer,Alan Hansen can stop masturbating over Messi and ignoring every other player for Argentina.
