not worth the risk, at all
Worth the risk, imo. If they drew today and lose vs Spain in the last round, they are 100% out. If they win 1:0 today, and they did, and they lose vs Spain in the last round, they might be easily out again on goal difference.
Sure, 1:0 is better than 0:0, but since it might easily turn out in the end that 1:0 will be the same as 0:0, Chile wanted the 2nd which was gonna put them in a much much better situation.

I have just the solution for you: stop watching & go do something else.
I would, but it's the World Cup. I have to watch it. That doesn't mean I can't complain about some of the things that are very annoying. Especially because some of those things also influenced the two previous World Cups.

Make the football happen in front of the opponents goal so they can't score. He is a very attacking coach. I couldn't imagine Juve playing like that at all.

Loved the match.
thats fine but hold on to possession dont start shooting from outside the box when you re only leading by 1 goal in the dying minutes of the game.

it's too many if's while the only constant is they get more points by winning this one, as you re assuming the swiss will beat honduras for sure. Not worth the risk imo especially at those dying minutes
