yeah the germans were v good again today play some great intelligent football, they hit the bar in the first half and created numerous chances that podolski should have done better with. he could have had a hat trick in the second half including the peno miss. i was surprised to see him step up to take it given the chances he had missed only minutes earlier. first german to miss a penalty ever in the world cup.

serbia had more chances as germany pushed men forward. khedira and ozil were good in the middle of the field although ozil tired as he had to do extra running to accomadate the sending off of klose. the ref was ridiclous giving out yellow cards for every free nearly first yellow for close was a total accidental collision.

imo the germans will improve from this loss as they played well and learned many lessons although badstuber and muller are still young they are the weak link imo very inconsistant

a win is a win i agree but in my opinion the serbian team was not very hard to beat either. i mean serbia played effectively they scored and when ever they had the chance to go forward on the counter they did and missed it so had germany concentrated they could've at least drawn. thats why imo i think they were a bit poor today.
