Congrats to all Azzurri fans and Italians.....Yesterday was probably the best day ever....No one can imagine what happened here in Beirut....Thousands and thousands of fans were down celebrating the Victory, something probably you can't see in all Italian cities....I love the Azzurri....

Nothing was better than to see Alex and Fabio and the whole team lifting the Cup, the WORLD CUP....

Zidane golden ball????:howler:...Fvcking pathetic Joke...No wonder why Maldini didn't win it before...It's just never been made for defenders...

Grazie Cannavaro, Grazie Capitano....

Alex, you deserved that Captain....

Forza Azzurri, Forza Italia....

Why doesnt Materazzi speak out for himself.... Zizou's silence is understandable, but Materazzi should speak out
You really expect him to speak to the media about what he said? That's like giving himself away

It must be something provocative, because Zidane would not have reacted like that if Materazzi didn't say anything. It's almost impossible to say that Matrix didn't play a part in it. If I were Matrix I would rather keep quiet about it.

Not trying to defend Zidane here, but at least he should have control himself. For some1 his age I thought he would have undergo all sorts of insults to the extreme.

FIFA is really pathetic... they are trying desperatly to convince the public that the refs didnt use video footage of the incident..... FIFA we are not stupid... we do have brains you know... stop bullshitting us, the spanish ref didnt see it.. if he had seen it and was so sure about it, the red card should've been given straight away, but that didnt happen ... it took the argentine ages to figure out what happened..... he definitly recieved the instructions from the fifth ref..... and if they dont/ didnt want to introduce the video ref., then why does the fifth ref have a TV infront of him ....?????!!!!!
FIFA loves to self-own, just like the previous games in the tournament.

problem is that there is a small possibility that he would appear as a big man, given his reputation. I think he provoked zidane for a long time before zidane reacted.

Abt the celebrations, here in melbourne atmosphere was amazing....match started at 4am, and celebrations continued till almost 8 or 9. There were thousands in here, just amazing

Of course he provoked zidane from the first minute!Materazzi is very clever when it comes to dirty playing he is one of the best in the world! remember his batlles with Ibrahimovic.he is a kind of defenders that during the match u want to kill him more than u want to win the match! As for celebration man I really missed a lot .U cant imagine how much I wanted to party & celebrate this great deserved world cup,I was deseperate to go crazy BUT ................... NO CHANCE!

we are sooooo curious!!!!!!
Does it really matter what he said?
Everybody knows that it is something provocative that happened to hit Zidane's weak spot

which makes it even pointless for him to say such a thing out given his reputation
