This picture doesn't need words...
It's extremely hard for me to have any sympathy for the French, but for David I have some, that's all due to the fact he's a Juventus player (at the moment...).

sorry Trez.. you have caused us a lot of as a juventino, but as a francese you caused us a lot of pain.. so it is time to know how it is:cry:
And if Henry was able to finish the match, he would have been offsides on his own PK anyway.

An anti-racism pressure group has claimed that Italian defender Marco Materazzi called Zinedine Zidane a "dirty terrorist" prior to the Frenchman's red card in Sunday's World Cup final, while Materazzi has denied the accusation.

A statement on Monday from SOS Racism read: "According to several very well-informed sources from the world of football, it would seem that the Italian player Marco Materazzi called Zinedine Zidane a 'dirty terrorist'."

Zidane - born in Marseille to Algerian immigrant parents - reacted with a violent head-butt and was sent off by Horacio Elizondo after a prolonged wait during which the referee consulted his assistants.

The Paris-based group called for an inquiry and said world football's governing body FIFA had recently toughened sanctions against racism.

"It's for this reason that SOS Racism asks in a determined fashion for FIFA to shed light on this altercation and that sanctions laid out in the official rules be applied, should this be the case."

Materazzi denied the accusations. "It is absolutely not true, I did not call him a terrorist. I'm ignorant. I don't even know what the word means," he said as the victorious Italy team returned to Rome on Monday.

French television has reported that Zidane - silent up till now - will talk about the incident "in the coming days".

The Indipendent: "Materazzi diede del 'dopato juventino' a Zidane"
10 07 2006

--------------------------------------

the independent newspaper say´s that Materazzi has told Zidane that he is "a doped juventino"..

in this case Zidane should be our hero:D

forza Zizou,
but seriously we all know what an interista (I mean asshole) Materazzi is. I can imagine that he said something bad. and actualy I am sad because of the way Zidane leaves football.
i am really happy that italy has won it but i am sad this fuckin materazzi has won it.

Thuram broke my heart last nite when i saw him crying, and then today i saw the trezi pictures.Very sad, both of them, played their heart out when they got a chance(trezi).

Good to see the french hailing their team as they were impressive and that generation was just amazing

Marcusa:zidane is the best player to touch a ball since zidane and Baggio mybe. For Juve, France even madrid.
We all know, how dirty marco can be? and u cant compare alex to any player as he is a special player especially when it comes to proffesionalism.
zidane is can be very ill tempered, and i dont think that he would like to end his career like this over nothing.

Well if such a thing was said then its truly shameful and I would feel ashamed and dissapointed after chanting his name during and after the WC. However I wont go deep into this till the official truth comes out. It would be nice if Mattarazzi said his own version of what he actually said. There is however one thing I never did come to realise.. how much does zidane love algeria, if im right he doesnt get much with his father as much as his mother and if im right he isnt a muslim, so if thats the real case, why would it affect him?

Well he must have his reasons... but he could have waited for Mtrix in the locker rooms and fight with him or something(if what materazzi said was just too much, that needed to be resolved in a man´s way XD )... but not to butthead him in the game.

To be honest Pirlo was one of the most emotional players during the penalty kicks, yesterday.Imagine that,Gattuso was crying after the match against Germany.
Demetrio Albertini(Milan player) was crying like a baby when we lost the EURO 2000 final.

Maybe Materazzi said something about Pessotto...
Seriously mate dont you think your going a lil over the top now? I mean I understand all the french sentiments for going out, its hard, I know how it feels the italians also went out many times on penalties, weve also suffered defat from you guys and have ridicolous decisions go against us.. this is football simple as its time to move on heal your wounds the french team will always be promising, yes its old but france will be france. Lets put it in simple prospect, france just about made it out of the group stages, a nation which wasnt expected to reach teh final nevermind the quaters or anywhere somehow managed to beat portugal and spain, ( i wont say brazil because they were just ridicolous). You as a french fan should be proud of your team, afterall its the second world cup final ever. 10 years ago you would never have even thought of final so let this be a foundation for your future generations to aim for.
