Could the coming UEFA financial rules give us a shot at this signing? Most of the few clubs that could afford Rooney aren't spending big right now so if we can't sign him it will probably be over wages.

10 out of 10 are only Ronaldo and Messi, Rooney was a 9 out of 10 last season for Man UTD (not England NT)
About the 10's - I agree with those two - they are obvious. But I consider Xavi and Maicon of the same caliber...
Rooney I would give an 8, though. When he is on top of his form he is getting in the 9 zone, but he lacks quite a few qualities for a "true" SS and the vital height for a CF...:shifty:

First, this will never happen, because of money and other more alluring options.


But to think for even 1 second, that there are fans who would say no to getting Rooney if we can afford him, is so insanely laughable it blows my mind. Even if its the typical predictable shit, just huge lol at the naysayers.

Some of you may find this funny, but I had huge problems understanding SAF yesterday on press conference. At least 70% should be subtitled.
