Oh some are serious alright. I remember somebody here once saying he didn't want Bastian S....(no idea how to spell his name) because he was ugly.

Rooney would be an excellent buy, but I really don't see Juve winning any sort of bidding war for him. Hell, I don't see Inter going for him. It'll be one of Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea or Man City. And that's if he doesn't patch things up and stay.

That's used quite frequently lately. People keep talking about how pretty or ugly some players are.
And some seem to be seriously against some players because the players in question are ugly.

I'm not talking about Hoori, Sab, Fab, Angela or Tina. The girls actually don't care too much if we buy an ugly player if he's a good player. Some of the guys here, though.....
Yeah that's strange and such a gay thing to say, like it matters on the playing field if a player is handsome or ugly. I bet they like Ronaldo more because of his looks than his football skills. :shifty:

Yea its a good sign that Marotta is looking at players of this calibre.
Marotta obviously owns a copy of FM2010.

Yes. Please get it out of your heads: we are a midtable club that no longer has the caché to lure the world's biggest name players. We're a few seasons off from earning that, for that matter, let alone getting the budget to afford them.

There is no way in hell that a Europa League club who hasn't yet proven their CL worthiness can afford to take on Rooney right now.

I don't want Roony and i hope this doesn't hurt our chances of getting a top striker this year with Manure seeking a replacement.

Any decent GM would enquire if they take a player like Rooney is available. I do think our chances of landing him are slim though.
