casio is the budget king, but if you don't like their watches then get a skmei. a friend bought one as a beater and it's been serving him reliably for a few years already.
their products are too expensive to avoid even check them.

Casio Duro
Casio G-Shock
Vostok Amphibia
Seiko 5 SNK805
Seiko 5 SNXF05
Timex Weekender

Invicta
Pagani Designs
(chinese)
I just looked it up (or started to) and I already got pissed off. I can't believe Duro is listed as 50-60 dollar watch but I can find it here for 95-100e. Fucking stupid.

If you want a nice piece for not a lot, I say spring for Citizen Eco-Drives as they will last a lifetime if you actually wear it. I'm on my third in 25 years. Only reason I upgraded each one was I wore the black finish off of the band because I jack my tiny ass dick off so much.

So I have a question.

Gimme some options for best 80-100e watch in your opinion. Quality and look wise.
i bought two casio 2100's during the summer:
- https://www.casio.com/us/watches/gshock/product.GA-2100-1A1/ - perfect beater with limited legibility (dial and hands need some contrast)
- https://www.casio.com/us/watches/gshock/product.GMA-S2100-7A/ - perfect summer beater with stupid silver accents (it's kinda feminine like this, so i will somehow paint the hands and the dial ring matte black or dark blue and it's perfect for next summer)

quality is all right. plastic, so durable as fuck. white watches won't stay white though, so i'd pick an other color from the same range.

Tbh I always hated gshock. I always thought it to be a kids toy lol. But more importantly, I mostly dress more fancy so it wouldn't suit me really as I find it to be sport-ish.

i could never wear most g-shocks either but believe me these are perfect

as for dress watches under 100€, there are dozens of similar articles with multiple suggestions: https://watchranker.com/best-dress-watches-under-100/
did you already find anything that you find appealing? any idea about materials, colors, and especially size? i have a seiko snk805 which is a common suggestion already posted above, but it's borderline small for my already tiny wrist, and not that dressy either. there's no _best, there are _good options. so help us a bit more pls

I find it hard to discuss size as I don't have anything to compare unfortunately. As for my wrist size I'd say it's medium but probably leaning more towards smaller size. I don't think I'd opt for a metal wrist band eventhough they are more easy to wear imo. Also, since I like to mix and matches clothes too, I think it's impossible to have one watch, at least imo. So I would definitely try to buy a coupon but that would be a long term goal obviously since I can't really afford such journeys. Ignoring size, and unfortunately price too, here's the top two that I like the most so you see what I like:

But I'll give you this: that gshock that you posted, the first one, is actually something that I could wear. I do like that one which is strange.

that orient isn't a long shot considering your budget. you have it on amazon for 135€, there are warehouse deals for it regularly (used goods, usually in very good shape), the last one was a few days ago for 103€. install the amazon price tracker called keepa, start tracking its price and i'm sure you'll have a good deal in a few weeks.

Code:
https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07FD9C4VG/
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/keepa-amazon-price-tracke/neebplgakaahbhdphmkckjjcegoiijjo (that's for chrome but you have it for multiple browsers and as an android app too)

you can also browse some shops for ideas:
https://www.watchshop.com/watches/mens.plp
https://www.jomashop.com/watches-for-men.html

as for straps, as long as it's not an integrated strap you can always replace the bracelet (steel strap) with leather or whatever you prefer, so if you see something that you like that only comes with a bracelet, don't let it be a dealbreaker.

one cool youtube channel to check: https://www.youtube.com/c/JustOneMoreWatch i used to follow him, he's got a distinctive style and voice but he's a genuine watch fan and might have a similar wrist size to you.

as for the size: 40-41mm can be a sweet spot for medium sized wrists, but there's no rule of thumb. some watches wear smaller than expected, and some wear larger. i usually check not only the diameter but the lug to lug size too and don't even consider anything over 50mm of lug 2 lug. the black gshock i posted has a 45mm+ diameter which normally would be gigantic but a lug 2 lug of only 48.5mm so it's a nice fit even for smaller wrists. long lugs and big dials make watches wear larger.

it's an endless topic, so i'll leave it like that for now. let us know if you need any feedback on an idea.
