Just came back from the mall. Of course, nobody had the sort Swiss Army watch I was looking for. Looks like I'll have to order it online which I don't prefer doing.

Yeah, that's an amazing watch right there. I'd like to get one someday as well.
That Victorinox watch you are looking for, I had it on my wrist for 15 minutes at a store and was that close to buying it last fall. I then decided not to when I knew that I would not be totally satisfied when I am not buying the watch that I really want.

Understandable. How was the feel of the Swiss Army watch? Overly heavy or just about right?

As far as what Dusan said about looks, the one I posted is a great everyday AND dress watch, which is what I'm looking for.

Not heavy at all, it has a very nice feel. The thing I can't stand about Breitlings is their weight, it is ridiculous.

I just pay two Mexicans 10 pesos to hang out with me as part of my entourage to tell me the time whenever I need it.

I call one "AM" and the other "PM".

In the army i had a multifunctional Digital Casio watch, of the edifice series, equipped with alarm, light, temperature, count down etc, in a steel bracelet and scratch resistant glass.
More useful than my old Camel trophy SE.

After that i was raising money for the Omega speedmaster, like Bonds seamaster, but with black cadran.
I wanted it to be automatic (so you wont have to worry about battery and the risk to stop being waterproof after a few bat changes) and resistant to water and long term exposure to humidity and scratches, sport enough to resist water sports, hiking/hunting but also elegant enough to wear in medical congresses with a suit.

Due to the financial crisis i had to settle with a Tissot though

PS: I guess me and Jack have the same taste in watches, Tag Heuer are also nice and accurate, but they are too big in my hand.
One day i will buy one those automatic Omegas though, prolly before Juve earns her third star...
